Are SMLA certifications approved for veterans benefits?

SMLA partners with SAP's Veterans to Work program and operates licensed training centers monitored by the Texas Workforce Commission and Michigan LEO. Eligibility for TA, VET TEC, MyCAA, and GI Bill varies by program — contact the campus for current details.

How long do SMLA certifications take?

Most SMLA certifications take 4 to 12 weeks depending on the program and schedule. We offer day, evening, weekend, and online formats to accommodate active-duty service members, working professionals, and full-time students.

What is SMLA's job placement rate?

SMLA reports an 85 percent employment rate across more than 900 students trained through our Veterans to Work and civilian certification programs.

Can active-duty service members enroll?

Yes. SMLA's Fort Bliss, Fort Hood, and JBSA campuses serve active-duty personnel directly, and our online programs are available to service members at any duty station.

Does SAP cover the certification exam fee for veterans?

Yes. The SAP Veterans to Work program provides scholarships that cover exam fees in S/4 HANA, analytics, and data management for eligible transitioning service members, veterans, and qualifying military spouses.

Can I use TA, VET TEC, MyCAA, or GI Bill benefits at SMLA?

Many SMLA programs accept Tuition Assistance, VET TEC, MyCAA, and GI Bill benefits. Acceptance varies by program and campus, so contact the campus directly to confirm current eligibility for the program you want.
